In 2022, I committed to speaking on technical topics and passing up on the soft skills. My topics included:
- Azure Cosmos DB Gremlin API (Now known as Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Gremlin)
- Azure Identity
- DefaultAzureCredential
- ChainedTokenCredential
- Azure Databricks
- Azure DevOps
In 2023, I plan on continuing to focus solely on technical topics. As I was talking with friends, I know I am in the representation of “Mom over 40 who speaks on things Dev, DevOps, and Data”. I’ve got to represent this group to remind folks that I bring all sorts of perspectives – as well as UX and software architecture – when on technical projects.
This year’s topics include:
- Azure Cosmos DB – focusing on the NoSQL and Postgres APIs
- Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Development – some general web development, some WebAssembly, maybe learning Rust and Go
- More ChainedTokenCredential and other Azure Identity adventures
I anticipate more YouTube videos this year, as well as more virtual meetups. We’ll see what’s ahead!
Also… kudos to Dan Rey for getting me hooked up with Microsoft Designer. I had it generate an image with the prompt “speaking at a tech conference in pointillism” and it included a woman speaking as part of the images. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
